Here's a man from a country that has complete justification to slag the English off!

Quote: Alan C @ May 25 2008, 11:53 PM BSTYou made the subject broader there and with this point I cannot agree. America has killed more innocent people since the end of WWII than any other country and supported Israel which causes anti-western feelings and breeds the "Any friend of America is an enemy of mine" mantra
That's because the Americans are nutters. Anyway. The Israel thing is still nothing directly to do with religion though, is it? Palestinians are largely Muslim, I believe, but it's not BECAUSE they're Muslim that the US supports Israel. Is it? Maybe it is...
Anyway.

Oh, I dunno about that. It's the BRITISH military and BRITISH Parliament involved in that whole shizzle, not the English!

Personally, I blame St. Patrick for bringing Christianity to Ireland. If he hadn't have done that, I mean, have you ever heard of a Protestant Pagan or Catholic Pagan? Hell no.
Hahahah

It's a hugely complicated story and Isreal's very being is wrapped up in British politics. If Israel did not insist on being near it's historical religious monuments then the US could absorb it into it's homeland as a seperate state. It would be damn cheaper and peace would break out in the middle-east .. that is until America decides to sell arms to somebody who shouldn't have them and off we go again! If there wasn't war in the world the rich wouldn't be as rich as they are - they learned this lesson by being the chief wholesaler to us and the Russians in the 2nd World War.
To all people reading this who disagree - I am tired and I appreciate my argument is condensed and simplistic ..
Can somebody tell me which thread to go to to witness evidence for M Lewis's banning? It's tricky for us part-timers, but I want to go back and see any aggro!
See I'm not the only one who wants to point and laugh!
You want more ammo Badge to fire at us poor admins and mods?
Here's a clue: There is no thread.

That's not a clue, that's a statement!
I just noticed a banning, that's all. Happy for it to be off-line, as it were, though I do enjoy a bit of rubbernecking.
He asked to be banned (literally asked, not "he was asking for it!" asked), as he felt unable to abide by the site's rules, and openly refused a number of simple, perfectly reasonable requests which I made in accordance with both those rules and common courtesy.
And no, it wasn't something as simple as spelling.
Suicide banning! Could start a trend.
*points outside*
It is wet.

On a point of order, it's not here. Here it is sunny.

Couldn't he have, you know, just not logged on anymore?

Evidently not.

You never take any notice of me when I ask!?
