I was watching Pointless earlier and the question was countries wholly or partly on the same latitude as GB.
I was gobsmacked to learn that the only bit of the USA that qualifies is Alaska !!

Yep. You guys are far to the north of most of the country.
I just checked my latitude and its roughly the same as Kuwait City. Also, my house in Texas is only a mile north of the latitude of the university I attended in Florida.
We're to the North of a lot of things ! No wonder I'm cold . . .
It was a balmy 80F/27C today.
F OFF! It's still cold.
I've got an Aunt Carol in Mississippi - would you know her by any chance?

Today's high is only 64F/18C, if it makes you feel any better.
My only experience with Mississippi has been driving the 75 miles on I-10 across the southern tip. I spent the night in Biloxi once, but that was before the casinos were built.
When all this was fields!

Brrrr, you must be feeling chilly.
So you don't know my Aunt Carol then.
She lives in Magee if that helps.

I can speak it. I'm just not good at writing or spelling in it.
