Is it an easy process?

Laughing out loud

I applied for my first one a few years ago. I remember there being an option to pay extra (and quite a bit extra) to get it fast tracked but I didn't do this but I still got it within the same time as I would have if I had coughed up the extra dough. What I'm saying is, you might not need to bother with that option.

I also had to go to an interview to make sure I wasn't a terrorist... they didn't appreciate the ole false shoebomb joke but luckily I still passed and got my passport a few days later. Which has a fancy microchip inside it, that meant I could whizz through the cue at the airport because it's a wireless thing and then it scanned my eye too. Weird.

Sorry, must have misunderstood your post. Eh?

You can't get any easy than filling out an online form surely? Perhaps you'd like someone to do it for you?

I think they randomly pick 1 in 10 or something?

Oh...

The thing is I don't even need one

It's purely cos I could do with some I.D. as I don't have a drivers licence

So I'm gonn have to blow like £80 on a passport just so I can have some photo ID

Lunacy

Don't want to have to fanny about going for bloody interviews as well

Um, get a provisional drivers licence, they are cheaper and have photos on.

I refer you to the answer I gave to the person who made that 'joke' originally.

I'm not entirely sure why you are being, quite, so rude and aggressive but it's fine for you to argue that you think horse racing ( or as you've said, just some of it ) is cruel. It fine, even, to assert that it's better that the thousands of horses that live perfect life should never have existed in the first place to save the percentage that are killed.

You're even perfectly entitled to say that you think that over a hundred thousand people should be put out of work to save these few unfortunate beasts... All these things are ok but, But... When you argue that Newton's laws of motion are wrong and counter these laws with "bollocks" I think you are getting a little above yourself.

Aggressive, rude, welcome to the world, if you think this is aggressive then you may find the going hard. I always have been a little above myself I like the view :D

Provisionals are never accepted as valid ID by banks etc etc

That's all I've had and I'm sure they accepted mine.

A provisional is fifty quid and you need ID to get one. It says passport on the DVLA site but they will accept some other forms.

"you may find the going hard"... I see what you did there, very good.

Is there a another type of identity card you could get? In Austraila we have 18+ cards- useful for getting in to clubs buying alcohol when you don't have a drivers licsence.

He could always use his twirly pass . . .
