Thats why I say make them employable.

Besides the government is also working to make the unemployed "volunteer" and do "work experience" for their benefits.

30-40 hours a week in pubs, shops, factories etc.

Atleast they aren't suggesting sticking them in boats for 6 month voyages and auctioning them off at the other end.

Yet.

:( Some yes, some no, it's how they choose 'the deserving few' very tricky, 'cos they would like like us all to work, regardless.

Mike Harding:

Serious drink drive warning - timely pre- Christmas!

I would like to share an experience with you all, about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the years.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for drinks with some friends in Manchester and had a few too many beers. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before .... I took a bus home.

Sure enough I passed several police roadblocks on the way home to Yorkshire but as it was a bus they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it from!

:D

:) Yes, do agree.

The government is aiming to "reable" all people with late stage cancer on Incap.

Someone should tell them bullying sick people into an early grave will permanently make them unemployable.

You gotta love Cameron. He really cares.

Wow, is that real? Awful driving from the two doing the overtaking.

:D Great clip, do hate motorways, so put me right off a visit this Christmas.

Does one "visit" motorways? Errr

Saying that, it does remind that I must pop into Sainsbury's on my way home. Just remembered I invited the M5 round for dinner.

I hear the M5 likes barbecue.

I've invited the recently-divorced M62 round too. Not trying to play Cupid or anything, but I've got a feeling they might really hit if off after a few glasses of wine. *fingers crossed*

Hope you crash on the way you pedantic oaf. Angry

He cares, he just doesn't start till you start earning a certain amount.

Sounds like Black Mirror could prove prophetic.
