Have completed all Christmas shopping, except for one elusive gift for a man who doesn't like stuff. All and any ideas please! What are the BCG men hoping to get for Christmas, and what are the ladies getting dads/partners/brothers?

:D LOL having same trouble! a very plain grey hoody went down OK last year.
The teeth 'whitening kit' less so.

Looking through normal websites for random gift ideas, not normally offended by much but quite taken aback by how much explicit stuff is dressed up as humourous gifts. If I had kids I'd be seriously considering a November-January internet block

Not sure if you have them but we have Visa gift cards in Australia. You buy them from post offices. They work like a gift card/voucher but are accepted anywhere that takes visa.
I haven't even started my Christmas shopping yet. I have no idea what to get anyone. One of the shopping centres near me does 48 trade over 23/24 so I usually end up walking around dinner time on 23rd.

Yes we have them. I bloody hate store specific gift cards though. Just give me the money :P

yea. There is one store kind of like HMV here that I don't mind getting gift cards for but other wise I prefer the visa or cash. Even though the two most common cards here can be used for a number of stores, they aren't usally the places I shop.

Because I'm of that age I want a book commemorating 50 years of Commando comics.

:( The thing is, if you give them pants they moan, tooo difficult Johnny chap.

I never moan at gifts. I hate ungrateful people that do. I don't like to ask for gifts, which makes it harder I know, but I just don't expect anything from anyone!

:D OH shut up, makes it harder! Is there really any bloke who is happy with a six pack of socks?

Thanks, but need to get an actual gift, that's fun to unwrap and doesn't require someone having to go shopping to get their own pressie!

Not quite appropriate for this person, but a good specific suggestion, ta

Yes, sweet, but, what do you bloody well want, men of the world?!

I would love these:

Hmmm, how about a mug or glass? It's still stuff but useful stuff at least. Or perhaps a food/drink hamper? If you can't find a pre done one that is suitable, you could make your own. All you need is a box/basket to put the stuff in.

Personally, I like gadgets (toys). Something static like an ornament won't do. I don't care for jewelry and if I ever did, it would have to be something specific I'd pick out. Clothing is okay but a bit boring, it's basically going to be non-functional most of the time (because it's a fancy shirt or something for special occasions). Socks are a good present, I can't get enough socks and pants though.

An easy gift would be chocolate/sweets. A tin of Roses that I don't have to share. Some wine or premium beer of some sort.

Thanks again, but he already has favourite mug (non bloody breakable!) and everyone else will get him food...
