The more shocking bit is, the bloke who failed it, asked me out for a drink.

The guys gaydar wasn't working hey?

I just think he was a bit lonely - bad time of year to be on your own, and all that.

He's cheered up now though, I've sent him to Will Cam's house. Pleased

Same as any other time... Teary

This made me laugh:

I can't believe he expected you to say yes after failing you. Gay or not!

It's all very strange; it's happened before though.

In the summer, I had my patio redone. And the bloke who did it, on completion of the job, invited me out for a Chinese meal.

And this was AFTER meeting my wife - so he knew I wasn't gay. Bizarre, indeed.

Maybe they're not gay either and they just want a friend.

Personally if my MOT man fails my car I am thankful, he has done me an extreme favour in pointing out that my car is unsafe & likely to kill me or someone else.

I always ask if he found anything which "just passed" but could REALLY do with being fixed.

Bill, you're such a gent.

Location: Greenwich Park.

Picnic not going well.

This is probably a little bit off subject but I recently carried a funny article on my website which used the name of mohammed in a comedy manner.... this type of thing could be quite dangerous if people take it the wrong way. I don't want to provoke people if it's not acceptable but then again I don't want to leave something out if it's funny. I suppose the point is I wouldn't be even thinking about this if it was the word Jesus instead of mohammed.... what are people's views on this?

I think some people/religions/cultures are mind blowingly oversensitive and/or insane. :)

Yes. And why does their God care so much about what people say anyway? Isn't He above that sort of thing?

To be fair I suppose humour is a personal thing and it won't be everyone's cup of tea but I reckon so long as you're not deliberately going out of your way to pick on, bully or offend someone then the rest is fair game.
Have a look and let me know when you see the article in context http://www.themondaysupplement.co.uk/news/cargo-plane-crashes-into-housing-complex-in-pakistan-has-anyone-got-a-charger-for-an-i-phone/
