It means like, in hiding.

I don't know where it comes from though.

What the f**k?

It must be one of these north words.

Stig's got the right idea.

It's Indian.

*goes back again*

Close enough.

I can't believe I missed Bandage.

The bastard.

Angry

He's probably masturbating.

I'm listening to The Darkness again. I have rediscovered a love (well, ish) for their music. Ace.

(What the flip does "purdah" mean?)

I'm surprised at you Aaron - I would have thought you'd know, what with your interest in politics. Every time there's an election there's a "purdah period". It pretty much means the incumbent elected authority doesn't do any big announcements or politicising on party grounds. That's not to say that the parties can't do so, but "the office" should be limited to simple day-to-day business. So if we went into purdah now, the Government wouldn't be making any changes to tax legislation, for example, but the Labour Party could set out what it would do about tax if re-elected.

Or something like that.

I guess it's to prevent the incumbent power from using its power to try and ensure re-election, but it seems a bit quaint. And if there was a big crisis I'm sure they'd drop it in an instant.

I like their Christmas song!

My head changes the words to an altogether more dirty version.

Aye, I just don't recall having heard it - or anything - referred to with that term before.

Good morning!! Wave

*turns round, falls asleep*

Morning Finck! :)

*gets ready to leave*

Good afternoon your Finckship.
