Ideas like this are occasionally bandied around the BCG, but they always seem to fizzle out.
People lose interest, others have to pull out for various reasons, etc.
Doubt you'll get anywhere with this, but good luck anyway.

I've started most of them.
Cheers, lol. Actually about two years back me, Leevil, the Slag brothers spent a lot of time putting together a pilot sketch show called WTF. It didn't get picked up but we stuck together and spent a lot of time getting it finished, so I have faith that we can work together.
I am a workaholic who loves what I do, so I will produce something, but it would be nice to work with others.
Good times!
I think Don makes a good point though. We need to establish a solid plan. Gathering different peoples talents. Starting an idea from scratch without a guide will make the whole project unstable and not having a specific goal would discourage people continuing.

Is it available to watch anywhere?
It was a script

Exactly. Mental but set in 'the real world', however unbelievable.
Is this project for the sake of the writing community on the BCG? Would ideas be posted directly onto the public forum. Or are you looking to pool any writers, and you've happened to pick here to do it? In which case I think it is best first scouting the collaborators and then continuing privately. Using a drop box document thing to put ideas/scripts ect on.
I would suggest starting the thread again, listing what you want and need. Start off with a concept and see if anyone cares to join in. There are plenty of non-active members who read the forum and would prefer to sign up without posting directly onto the boards. Is this possible, or is this like I first mentioned a public collaboration?
Sorry, I'm being a pain I know. It's a mixture of boredom and reluctancy to try this again, as noted by Don.
I've said to Gavin before that this would be a good idea for a series if we could wrestle the characters from the guys that created them. Do our own stories with Gav's voice artists.

But it could also be set in a dream-world for the sake of being set in a dreamworld.

We could do our own and take all the credit.

Well, quite.

Yeah, but it's a good idea, a detective battling demons on earth (see Constantine). And could be violent, funny and touching if done correctly. Just an idea.
It's a good one!
I've always wanted to create an X-Files type thing, with the chance of coming up with a fun new character every edition. Misfits seems to be doing a good job of that.
Love Misfits. This thread was first to see if people were interested in the idea and just to see what people come up with. I do have another idea, but it isn't a comedy, its a sci-fi war movie, so I'm either going to do that, or do something with you guys here.
whats the sci fi idea?
My sci-fi knowledge is limited. I'd either pull out of a project like that or try to bring something different to it. A bit like Red Dwarf wasn't always about them being in space.
