Mixalot sounds like a bit of a dick. Alan Sugar actually is a Sir. Geldof is not.
Does he call himself that? He has an honorary knighthood as he's Irish.
Well it's not quite honouray. It is a proper KBE. But as he is not British, he is not legally entitled to call himself 'Sir', no.
On the opposite end of the scaled, Terry Wogan took British citizenship, and thus is allowed to use the style of 'Sir'.
