Yep. But I think it failed due to concept more than anything. Once you let spoof deadpan characters loose with a studio audience, you either get awkward studio laughter or awkward performances. We got both.

Though there was that one great bit, in the Garth episode, the clip from the giant bee film, which was basically Darkplace; I wouldve liked to have seen more of that!

Transcripts are an odd beast. Even telly producers can't always see jokes beyond the obvious - that's why writers often suggest acting types. Of course, reading scripts of stuff you seen is a different thing altogether.
