Bert Jansch - Moonshine

(His first post-Pentangle album - an underrated gem!)

Blimey.
What's the next one up from 'very'?

Rather digging the retro Moog sounds, though.

I haven't got a Pentangle album yet. Any suggestion where to start?

The output of the original 60s/70s incarnation is consistently good.

Solomon's Seal is a favourite of mine.

Thanks Johnny, I have only recently started to buy British folk-rock/pop albums. I have now some albums by Steeleye Span, Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention and R + Linda Thompson. Pentangle and Renaissance are the next bands I'm going to check out.

There's not much Rock in Pentangle. More Folk-Jazz.

For an unsolicited recommendation, try the Irish ISB - Dr. Strangely Strange
