Louise Jordan - she was the supporting act at a show I saw last weekend and she was really enchanting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYhrDGVUBvA

For some reason I was expecting something with a more bluesy flavour... Nice though.

I was impressed by this kid when I saw him at a festival recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61LnClyaPQw

Twenty-Four Hours From Tulsa- Gene Pitney

I love this song so much. Possibly the saddest song ever.

:( Love it, but Morrisseys and Smiths 'How soon is now'... always hits me bad, my song at my funeral I have decided. OH dear? Teary .

Bjork - Post.

Just finished listening to the extraordinary One Nite Alone by Prince. Just the wee man and a piano. Astonishing.

Been listening to the Collins and Herring podcast all day. Now listening to Dancing by Daniel Kitson.

La Gazzra ladra Overure by Gioachino Rossini.

Although this along with many other classical pieces has been ruined as every time I hear it, it reminds me off that scene in A Clockwork Orange where Alex crushes a woman's skull by dropping a giant phalus on it.

Still, I'll try and not let it spoil the good music too much.

Stiff Little Fingers.

Dad's Army - Radio Series 3

On and off over the weekend, Gold Radio's top 1000 countdown of songs as voted by listeners online.

Quite pleased that The Beatles were number one, but very pleased that the song was In My Life. A somewhat overlooked classic for my money.

My favourite Beatles' track.

The Universal (Live at Hyde Park '12) - The Blur.

Still On Top - The Greatest Hits (Van Morrison)
