I've heard a few Dolly Parton songs lately that I quite like.

Is it?

Dont really pay much attention to the words when listening to the Selector

Too busy skankin

:)

Loads of their stuff is, even On My Radio has that minor key dark thing going on.
But then it doesn't reflect well on women to be associated with the word skank :D

Johnny Cash seems to be the country singer that even country music haters love.

Love the Willie Nelson version of Always On My Mind

Good shout.

I like a bit of Kenny Rogers and John Denver.

Are you familiar with The Beat?

Keep meaning to get hold of some of their stuff too

Joanna - Scott Walker

Procol Harum - Grand Hotel and then Uriah Heep - Gypsy

Procol Harum - Grand Hotel and then Uriah Heep - Gypsy same here

Aaron must really hate Procol Harum, watch yourself Bill Jaguar.

Why, because they formed their name out of two non words meaningless in any language just so it stood out, thus making the very most from a pretentious hit pop song they were incapable of following up?

Not listening to anything yet but have a yearning to hear something from The Lemon Pipers, which I don't have. :(
