What are you listening to now? Page 839

You won't have heard these but I urge you to give them a listen. Both are by Nasher, former guitarist with Frankie goes to Hollywood.

The first one is called 'Onjerry' It's a beautifully observed and performed piece on the hype that surrounded the Jerry Springer show. There's some great and funny lines in there too.

After that try 'Top of the Pops Again' which tells the tale of Nasher trying to get a solo record deal after Frankie broke up - again some funny stuff which takes the piss out of record labels.

Remote by Hue and Cry. Just bought the album in a charity shop to replace my vinyl copy.

:) Had a quiz question, really annoyed put 'The mighty Wah' meant 'Hugh and bloody Cry'! annoyed.

One of the lost true loves of my life was named Jane . . . :( :(

Lady Gaga - Hair

Some coma-inducing "issue" Afternoon Play on Radio 4, whilst waiting in the car. R4 really should put out a "do not listen whilst operating heavy machinery" warning at the beginning of these things. *yawns*

Elton John - "Grow Some Funk Of Your Own"
