The Divine Comedy - A Short Album About Love. For incurable romantics like me it's Neil Hannon's finest work.

This

What happens when you agree with both Stott & Chip!

:O

Ok "not this" then

Hey! I'm not the type to say one thing and mean another!

I prefer Neil Hannons version.
While we're not on the subject anymore

Here's a very good Divine Comedy track, which isn't on an album, Gin Soaked Boy:

I like his cover versions of:
Pictures of Matchstick Men
Make it Easy on yourself
Oh & Life on Mars as well.

I did try to make you aware.

Hehe, well thanks for trying. I shall have to read this thread more often.

Neil Hannon is missing from a church someone. Yes, he sings like a vicar, I've said it now let's move on.

For you Divine Comedy/Neil Hannon fans, he put out an album last year as part of a duo, The Duckworth Lewis Method. It's a sort of concept record about cricket; I realise that sounds like one to miss, but it's brilliant:

Lady Gaga - Judas

I'm listening to Deerhunter's new album and it's grand.

Arctic Monkeys -- Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair

Back to form. I lost a bit of love for them on the last album, but this is a belter. Great tongue-in-cheek lyrics, too.

Tom Vek - A Chore

He's back after 5 long years. Horay!

ELO

The All Over The World album.

A wonderful Jacques Brel song about egoistical fantasy and false modesty, which should be compulsory listening for wannabe comedy writers and stand-ups... ;)

Jackie - Scott Walker

Kris Kristofferson - Sunday Morning Comin' Down

Recommended for lonely drunks like me !

:D
