The King Blues - (a kind of punk/ska fusion, recommended)

The Monkees.

:)

There's a documentary on Radio 2 now about Roald Dahl.

I was never really a fan and apart from Tales of the Unexpected I never really saw much of his work. It was only recently that I realised the Family Guy Beer factory was a spoof of Charlie/Willie Wonka.

There were though lots of unsavoury rumours about him that I could never bring myself to watch his stuff.

Probably spread by someone he used to shag on the Internet.

Raining Pleasure - Orpheus

The XX - Infinity - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCBm5VbwJvY

Crystal Castles (II)

'Suffocation' and the non-Smith original 'Not in Love' are the standouts for me.

And 'Baptism', goes without saying.

Surfer Blood's album.

Windmills of Your Mind - Noel Harrison

Billy Bragg. I'm off to Nottingham to see him tonight, 'citing.

Long Player by the Faces. They were oh so good in their day. I think I'm going to cry.

Heart full of soul - Yardbirds from a recent live album. Another classic British group.

Lamarr on Radio 2 and he's just said he'll be leaving soon.

Shit! It's one of the best shows on there.

Keep hoping that the unfounded whispers about a reunion someday prove true!

I'll be there. Front row, boots blacked !
