Oops! Didn't see Danzig...that is cool!
What are you listening to now? Page 678
I've heard of 'Jesus Lizard'. Am I "down with the hip and happening kids" then?
Tim Minchin - Bears Don't Dig On Dancing
A documentary about production of Beatles records with George Martin.
I've also listened to a few of these Beatles programmes on Radio 2 over the weekend.
Damn - should've reminded Aaron.
I have as well listened to some of the Beatles on Radio 2. Fair Do's some of their songs are blinding and some a tosh. But the good are very good.
Beatles on Radio 2 and no one told me
Am listening to Julian Cope's Best of (including the Teardrop Explodes stuff). I only got it for the well awesome "World Shut Your Mouth" and the whole album is brilliant.

It's only been on all weekend.
And Julian and the Teardrops really were awesome.
I've got a signed book of his about prehistoric sites.
Cope surprised me. He's quirky in the same way that XTC and the Eels appeal to me - kinda mainstream poppy and melodic but hidden away within an unusual framework.
I'm going to have to get more of his stuff.

I guess you've got Kilimanjaro.

You just have to buy it. It's the album around the time of Reward and didn't originally include it. They added it to later versions but it is a classic from start to finish.
Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Macca's still chatting.
This is quite an interesting programme actually. Annoyed I missed the start but it's kind of like a lecture with humourous anecdotes and musical interludes.
I'm going to start buying up some Cope stuff. So I'll start with Kilimanjaro.
Did they plug the new Beatles' CD masters coming out next week?
Am listening to Fresh Feeling by The Eels inspired by the recent London discussion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hlPyP0jbqE
I'm currently singing Ring of Fire to myself!
Some kind of emergency at the winery located behind us...all kinds of alarms going off...fantastic!
