Laughing out loud

Last time I checked, I still had all five senses. Sorry Aaron but I'm all about the Rage!

Frank you KNOW you are the only one. Unless Christian Slater takes me back then you are sleeping on the sofa.

Rube, let's be honest with these good folks, you've turned down each and every one of my offers of love and romance and I really do think you need to find that right man for you now Rube, one who can give you all the finer things in life that I can't, like a home Kent... Gravesend for example.. mm, well.. dum-de-dum-de-dum well, if that's not to your fancy then there's always SHEERNESS!! Lovely sea views (past all the sewage) and.. oh look there's a seagull (dying)

<blackout : exit stage left : and quickly..>

England patriotism, the last refuge of scoundrels..

Nice try! My answer on that is while I have great and lovely friends there, it's not, nor will it ever become, a place I'll be looking to set up home in and I think those friends would agree. That is my final answer for the speedboat and holiday in Spain.

For some reason, I have had Sultans of Swing stuck in my head for two days so I had to dig it out!

Yeah Gravesend is no place to live, I'm thinking of moving ;)

I'll bet that was messy.

The clue's in the name!

What, the end of graves?

It makes it sound like an eternal idyll where death has finally been beaten....actually, that would be dull....

Apparently - seriously - it was something like where the end of the graves for the black death were - or something!

And tonights edition of 'Missing the point of my email' where we reveal that the end of Graves is a common myth as Black Death graves went as far as Dover. So I have no idea why it is called Gravesend... but as I say NOT the point I was trying to make and not to the people who replied ;)

It's probably a bastardisation of a thoroughly unremarkable (much like the place ;)) Anglo Saxon word for "flower pot" or something.
