Out of Time by Blur.

One of my favorite Blur tunes, but was out when my last dog passed away so can't listen to it without getting sad.

I Feel Love by Donna Summer

my dads old jim reeves records, surprizingly not bad in an easy listening kind of way.

House in the Country by the Pretty Things.

I've never heard it before. Is that where Blur subconsciously stole - sorry - got their idea from?

It's more likely Damon Albarn got the idea from "House In The Country" By The Kinks.

That's a classic. When I bought my first turntables, back in '95, my mixer had a sampler built into it, and I used to use it to produce my own little tracks, in my bedroom. The very first one I ever made featured a loop from the start of that song, along with some extra drums, some sound effects I got off an old BBC record, and a flute sample, from an Earth Wind and Fire record, which I subtley scratched in, every so many bars.

Sorry - same song! Pretty Things covered it.

I'm listening to jaw Bone by the Band from the album The Band.

Feeder - Just A Day

Lovey

Put it where you want it - Average White Band.

Myself singing a rather fabulous version of Hard Day's Night. With most of the words missing. The humming is top notch though.

I thought that must be you humming.

An album of Any Touble. A very underrated pop group from the early 80s. Clive Gregson just didn't look like a pop star.

I saw them once on a Stiff tour and they were singing Name of the Game and he walked off when the out of date punks gobbed on his pink satin jacket.

"Girls are always right."

Oh! Now I get it!

Wow, puns that take an hour to penetrate.

Collapsed Lung - Eat My Goal

Does anyone remember this? I've got it on single from 96.

If it's the one I am thinking of...yes I do remember it. It pretty much shaped my Saturday morning tv!
