Believe me, it's really, really not.

Perhaps, but YouTube is the actualisation of commercial interest in the internet. It started out as this wonderful free wheeling idea, sharing videos, sharing ideas and all on an equal platform. But then it became popular and the commercial world got hold of it. Now YouTube is a squalid mess of viral adverts, carefully marketed videos and whiny blogs. It's a corruption of what it once was.

I may have romanticised my view somewhat.

A little. I think you're giving far too much weight to that aspect of it though. Whilst that they a growing presence is undeniable, the vast, vast majority of content has nothing to do with the "commercial world" (at least not directly).

It's not as good as it was though.

Is there really a discernable difference? I wouldn't have thought so.

Well it moves quickly, I'm talking about a couple of months ago. The reality is that it's always been pretty shit, but now it's commercialised shit.

I wish that I was being ironic, but unfortunately I'm really that much of a snob.

Listening To: Many Lives -> 49MP by Final Fantasy.

Being a snob is possibly the greatest thing in the world.

Better Late Than Never by Eddie & the Hot Rods - their last studio album released in 2004. Off to see them on Friday night.

I've been listening to a group who almost certainly have the worst name, in the history of music. You'll have to see it for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY5U6vPusEM&feature=related

The Osmonds.
For like the first time ever.

They are awesome.
God help me.

God help me.

There's got to be some kind of logic implosion there or something?

I meant erm... David Tennant.

Good save.

Thanx.
