"Ray's a Laugh" - one of the radio sitcoms I listened to as a kid, and this one, wanting a new lady "who does", also starred Peter Sellers, Charles Hawtrey, Kenneth Connor and Patricia Hayes - all very funny and most enjoyable.
What are you listening to now? Page 1,523
The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Without thinking I dug out a couple CDs to listen to, the other being Atomic Rooster. Subsequently occurred to me that Atomic Rooster were the band backing Arthur Brown.
Incidentally Billy I just bought the Ian Hunter album featuring Once Bitten Twice Shy from a charity shop.
Just listening to Pick of the Pops on Radio 2. Sweet Love by Anita Baker always sends shivers down my spine.

I've not heard that yet but I do love the Damned. One of the best bands to come out of the punk explosion still going strong and progressing.
The Clash - Police on my back (live at Shea Stadium)
My daughter at Uni reliably informs me, this 3 X Mercury award nonmined British artist is the new Clash. He sets revolutionary songs to jazz & blues music:

Christmas sorted
A lovely telling of "A Christmas Carol" narrated by the inimitable Sir Ralph Richardson.
Perfect present wrapping accompaniment.
