Ditto

Some that came before but not skiffle!

A good Spotify Playlist.
Broadly speaking acoustic stuff - ranging from The Velvet Underground to Country.
Plenty of stuff I knew and tons of stuff I didn't.

I was a fan of theirs. Saw them a couple of times and being a groupie met them backstage.

In a similar vein I'm currently listening to Early Home Recordings of Sandy Denny. Very good quality.

What a voice!
I know it's a bit obvious, but I still love Who Knows where the Time Goes? - with a preference for the Fairport Convention Unhalfbricking version.
Which, I believe I'm right in saying, makes me a total bloody Philistine in some circles.

I'll try that.

Now listening to Coldwater Canyon by Dory Previn.

That's odd.
I'm also going through a bit of a retro singer-songwriter phase at the moment.
Must be my age.

Prefer the McCartney version.

Punk was all shit. The Pistols arrived and then journo Caroline Coone used the word punk to describe them, so you got all these shitty wannabes. I think of the Pistols as apart from all that shit, and far better too.

Considered one of the weaker tracks on the album ,I don't know why.

The album Dinosaur Swamp by The Flock.

The Best of Spooky Tooth, then Dream Weaver by Gary Wright.
