What are you listening to now? Page 1,508

Oh yeah by Yello in the new Macdonalds advert.

Watching and listening, truth be told.
Not seen this before, but came across it while falling down a late-60's YouTube rabbit hole ( cant imagine why!).
So...
A rather raucous Jefferson Airplane.
The sublime Joni Mitchell.
Stephen Still knocking out of the park on a CSN&Y classic.
Some folky pot-head nobody on tambourine(RIP)
More Jefferson.
Some rather hilarious freaking-out dancing.
And some daft US ads for good measure.

Just copied that for later watching.

I've been pruning my record collection and whilst doing so I played Blowin' by the Jess Roden Band which I've had for years but I don't think I've played it before. A brilliant album.

Jess Roden was a sort of white soul/blues cross-over, I seem to remember?
Not heard his name for am age.

Yes. Definitely worth checking out.

I shall.

After hearing Rainbow Valley by Love Affair I decided to have a Steve Ellis session. Currently listening to a Widowmaker album with Steve's recent solo album Boom Bang Twang to follow.

I'm envious of my mate for remembering Lennon songs. I'm just a jealous guy.

I saw a concert poster, 'New Order - Sold Out!' I thought, Yes, in 1993. Wankers.

Some hiss-ta-reee

I love the Pissers, but it winds me up how they're currently worshipped by the establishment that tried to destroy them. Boyle's docuseries treats Steve Jones' spunk as a national treasure, and the Pubic Image is Rotten was so sickofantic even I gave up. No wonder Johnny's so full of shit, he can't get Jon Savage's tongue out of his arse.

That Boyle thing was a pile of shit

that prat who played Johnny was even more irritating than the real life version
