Happy Birthday Eddie.

The charlatans- north country boy

I bought the first Charlatans album, Some Friendly, when it first came out. Shame it didn't have The Only One I know.

'Opportunity' on that album is bloody amazing...

The Fall - spoilt Victorian child

Another one.

The level of attention to sound from Dassin in
St. James Infirmary Blues, It stars also Hammond and Gibson (es 335 from that era, I presume, - unparalleled sound in modern times, pure honey;)))

Do you know that Dassin means "from Odessa city"? Name given to Joe's father in immigration office.

He was from my city, not from France.

Nice voice 69.
I see he's the son of the famous Holywood director.

Such nice clean cut boys - you'd be quite happy to let your daughter go out with one of them. Better than those scruffy long haired Beatles :)

I first saw them on the Arthur Haynes show.
I thought their hair was really long at the time.It would have been about the same length as it is in your photo :)

No one does misery as good as Radiohead.

A young John Martyn

I'd just started being allowed to stay up for OGWT.
Remember this being on.
What a talent.

If they're fake plastic trees what are they made of?

Radiohead are like sex... Anal sex. They bore the shit out of you.
