So, continuing with my early 60s theme - they weren't all guitar instrumentals (though most were), we had a short lived series of drum instrumentals, the most well know of which being "Let There Be Drums" by Sandy Nelson.....................
This is from 1977.I saw them 2 years earlier when they were in the UK.One of the best nights I've had without sex.

There were some fab organ instrumentals too. Booker T and the MGs, two of whom featured in the "Blues Brothers" film, and their "Soul Limbo" was the BBC cricket theme.
