The Levellers - hope street

Mercury Rev's Deserter's Songs. Hard to believe it's over twenty years old.

Its hot , I've had a J so 'Haitian Divorce' is a must. I have it on You Tube in a little 'Hot Day' Set so its followed by Ventura Highway , Wouldn't it be Nice, Flying Down to Rio, and for a touch of 'Jazz Hands' it finishes with Oh Babe What Would You Say' .

They're a fun band, and worth catching live as well.

I've got their last three albums, all decent.

Their singles are probably their strongest material, so watching their videos is a good route.

Their previous album, Summer 08, was recorded by Joe Mount on his own.

Midlake -2013 album Antiphon

Enjoyed that. Does most of their stuff have a 1960s/Psychedelic flavour?
