Good album. Bought it on vinyl at the time, and played it loads, along with the follow-up, Honey's Dead.

I had Psychocandy. Probably still have somewhere. I think it was a cassette.

Buddy Guy is great too and I've got a couple of his albums too - somewhere!

I really must try and sort out my music collection. It is ridiculous really.

Cassettes seem to be back in vogue again, so you'd probably get a better price for it now than you would a few years ago - not that you suggested selling it, but it's interesting how the value of things fluctuate.

I have loads of them too. I only bought them at the time for my Walkman, so I could listen to music on the tube/bus.

From an audio perspective, was never all that keen on them. Never added a Tape Deck to my Hi-Fi system.

Having said that, I spotted a nice looking Tape Deck a few years ago in a charity shop, and wish I'd snapped it up, but didn't have the space for it.

The Reel-to-Reel ones always looked cool.

Me too - there's loads of stuff I could be listening to if I knew how to put my hands on it quickly. Though I never run out of stuff to play.

Just heard that Roye Albrighton has died.
Reminded me of a LP I played a lot once upon a time.

I didn't know there was a new album by them until I looked on Tim Farron's Twitter page. He's very keen on it so expect more of this sort of thing if the Lib Dems win a landslide victory in 2020.

Live 1977 & 1979 - Bad Company

So who would have thought Henry Gross had covered a Lindisfarne song. Not me until today. Anyhow, weird fact of the week - Who was the youngest person to play live at Woodstock? Yes, that was 18 year old Henry Gross. This song about a dog that drowned at sea was vilified in Britain for its gooey nature and it barely troubled the charts. It is one of the best songs the Beach Boys never recorded and I love it.

(Just realised Brian Wilson wrote it - I may be told next the Beach Boys did record it!)
