Heartless Bastards - "Parted Ways"

This band is new to me, though they've been around since 2002/5. Liked everything I've heard by them so far.
A compilation cd from 2003. Didn't like some of the songs at the time- thought time might have changed my mind but still dislike the same ones.
Some of the ones I do/did like- I didn't realise they were that old.
Listening to Daryl Braithwaite The Horses only because of the bloody advert.

I saw them perform as the opening act for Wilco about 6 or 7 years ago. It was a solid show and I had a chance to meet them backstage after the gig. Nice people.

Cool.
Reading up on them, I see that one/more member(s) of Spoon have produced some of their stuff. Spoon is another band I've been meaning to look into more.
Funny how Heartless Bastards got their name. The singer says it came up as a multiple choice answer in a quiz, as an option for Tom Petty's *backing band* and she liked it so much, she filed it away for later use.

Just save your energy for this thread and the Pop/Rock one. Been missing your contributions.
Slade - Mama Weer All Crazy Now (nice live TV studio version)
Very - Pet Shop Boys.
I love all their stuff. Can't wait to get the new one which I'll probably buy on vinyl. You really feel like you've got something.
