You idiot. He helped the referee in the LA Galaxy v New York City game.

Is that soccer?

A game of eight halves, advertisers agreeing?

The answer on the card was, of course, Sandie Shaw.

I played a dummy.

But is this football?

The love of my life!

"A Phenomenon" - a Jan Akkerman compilation. Stuff from 1967 including Focus and up to 1972. Very good stuff.

Also just looked on his site and there's a great piece of music accompanying it.

I've been listening to them obsessively recently. He's got such a beautiful voice. I think the fact I don't have a clue what he's going on about adds to the enjoyment, I just switch off and melt into the sounds.

And now the Legacy Begins - Dream Warriors. My only rap album.

The B52's (as written on the cover).

Incidentally both Island Masters. Used to be a really good label.

Rock lobster - an absolute timeless classic. Thanks to Peter Griffin.

Toots and the maytals - funky Kingston
