Looks like it's May 19th in the UK, so I'm listening to some Pete Townshend on his 70th birthday.
My uncle sat next to Ray Dorset on a plane once and had a nice chat with him. The nearest I've got to sitting next to celebrity on a plane was having to sit between Brian Molko's minders which frankly was impossible given their size. They weren't at all happy with the arrangements saying that they wanted a pretty girl there. Luckily, that was enough to enable a suitable seat swap for the rest of the journey.

Vocals occasionally remind me of Beth (Portishead). Features former Whiskeytown guitarist, Phil Wandscher.
Some of these KEXP sessions are dynamite.

Watching "Anchorman 2" recently, enjoyed this slice of 70s Rock at the end:
Steve Miller Band - Jet Airliner
Been checking out more stuff by Luke Sital Singh, the singer who featured in the closing montage on "Match of the Day" last night.
