Yes, good.
It has a Neu! motorik quality in places.
And it's varied in its references.
Wedding Present would sit well beside it.

Just been playing Disc 3 of C.O.B., the line "Fifty five minutes past eleven" in "The Call Up" came on, and I looked at my clock and it was 11.52, so pretty close.

Yeah, that struck me too.
Another Peely favourite.

Oh for a reunion (except Cozy of course.
Started listening again to a 2 hour BBC doc. I recorded ooh what, 20/30 years ago (some of his contemporaries were still alive then anyway) - "The Life Story of Max Miller".
It opens with his "music" Mary From the Dairy and then speeds up as he comes on stage - Boy! What I'd give to go back and see that. One of his "recitations" that sums up the male psyche perfectly in my opinion:-
"I like the girls who do,
I like the girls who don't,
I hate the girl that says she will,
And then says she won't
But the girl I like the most of all,
And I think you'll say I'm right,
Is the girl who says she never does,
But looks as though she..........."
'Ere!! Now there's a funny thing.
Oooh, you're wicked lot - you're the sort of people that get me a bad name.
Love 'im, love 'im, love 'im!! One of the true comedy legends

Great stuff.
It could be a cue for Racey's "Some Girls" but we've only recently had Chas and Dave.
So I'm thinking it would be best to spread them out.
Neu! - Negativland

Pick Up The Pieces
AWB drummer Robbie McIntosh died this day 40 years ago (!) of an accidental heroin overdose in Los Angeles aged just 24 - what a waste.
Fabulous classic track.....
