Not quite sure why but I really like Bill Withers. He didn't have a great voice. Probably it was the laid back feel.

And Larry Wallis was of course another great Stiff.

Pavement - Carrot Rope

That's a song that reminds me of lazing about in the long Summer of 1999 when I'd just finished my GCSEs.

I love Pavement. For me, "Brighten The Corners" is a strong contender for Best Album over the last 25 years.
