They were a married couple. Still, a lot more bearable than duets by W. Houston/Bobby Brown or J.Lo/M.Anthony

Inspired by George's southern rock-post I'm listening to this early ZZ Top nugget:
(Somebody Else Been) Shaking Your Tree
I love how they worked in the country steal guitar in this otherwise bluesy track!
Led me to this:
ZZ Top - Brown Sugar (not a Stones cover!)

The singer's headgear is "awesome, dude!*, like a Rasta swimming cap.
The singer?
That's Billy Gibbons !
ZZ are awesome live. Get to see them if you get the chance.

I did see them in Zürich about ten years ago. It was a fun time...maybe a bit too polished, not as dirty and bloozy as before their 80s fame, but still rocking. The shiny steel cactuses on the stage were a great ironic idea.
ZZ in Zurich - how fitting!
A nice little song from the original Alice Cooper band:
Shoe Salesman (1970)
Would never have guessed it was him, just by listening. More like one of JohnnyD's 60s picks. Interesting.

You're quite right. And listen to his/their first album. It's even more 60s psych-rock than Shoe Salesman from the second album.
And the voice is completely different from the popular Alice Cooper sound.
I'm wondering what JohnnyD thinks of this album.
Morcheeba feat. Kurt Wagner - What New York Couples Fight About
Mark Eitzel - Move On Up
The Clash - Protex Blue
ikara colt - modern feeling

The kills - rock en Seine 2011 (full concert)
Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards - Skunx
Oar - Alexander 'Skip' Spence
An intriguing little album which is comparable to Syd Barrett's solo output.
