Horseradish your taste in both art and music leads me to think that you seek a form of fusion that also amalgamates your politic as you strive toward the creation your own person 'Gesamtkunstwerk'.

To that end I would be grateful if you could combine all three into a sketch format and post it in critique as I would love to see your ideas on comedy.

That's kind and I appreciate it.

It could be that I'm at my most constructive when floating around airily.

But I will bear it in mind! :)

Thanks for the question Chappers.

No, I don't think so. He's Brazilian whereas Carlos, I think, is Mexican. I can't claim to know masses about Lucas but that video, which I like a lot, is probably at the poppier end of what he does. Apparently, he is considered to be at the cutting edge of Brazilian electronica with some Joao Gilberto type influences.

The latter makes sense for two reasons. One, there are certainly jazzy "tints" in the song posted. Two, the Brazilians are currently mad for the original bossa nova sound being run through all kinds of electronica. It's their latest thing. I don't go for most of it myself. I prefer bossa nova to be bossa nova and electronica to be electronica. But last year's album by Gal Costa - a real blast from the past - did have its innovative moments. By contrast, Joao Gilberto's daughter, Bebel, is now moving to light entertainment although she did make a couple of very good albums in the last decade. We'll have more when the World Cup arrives!

It's the birthday of the delightful.........

That was enjoyable; I'll keep an eye out for them.

I also enjoyed Sam and Cara's contributions to the recent series of Transatlanctic Sessions.

I missed that.

Currenty listening to Bert Jansch and John Renbourn :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98VBUYisZZg

Personally I make it a golden rule not to listen to music by anyone called 'Bert'

That's just me though
