Nevertheless - Eclection

I Could Feel the Whole World Turn Round - Shotgun Express

The Man Who Took The Valise Off The Floor etc - She Trinity

Just a Smile - Pilot.

Sky High - Jigsaw

And a song I can never ever get tired of -

Bless Mama Cass.

Yes, bless Mama Cass. I love her voice. I doubt there is a single artist with a greater number of uplifting songs apart from Brian Wilson. Would welcome suggestions of contenders for that title. There must be some.

The first three are all new to me and interesting. The Australian singer in Eclection is good. Not wholly unlike Sandy Denny. I see that other members of the group went on to Fotheringay and, less predictably, Sailor. Re Shotgun Express, Rod Stewart is less gravelly on "I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round" than I have ever heard him. His voice seems a world away even from Python Lee Jackson. I understand that She Trinity were mainly of Canadian origin and ground breaking - an all girl group who played their own instruments.

I know the Jigsaw track and remember Pilot well. The first single in my collection was "January" because of a competition win. I hadn't heard the song you posted. They certainly produced above average melodic pop.

This man can write a song - and I love this video:

I don't know much Pilot beyond 'Magic', but IIRC they were basically the band used in the studio for most (if not all) of the Alan Parsons Project albums, so a classy bunch of players!

I completely agree.

The daughter of lead singer David Paton is apparently recording. Can't find any clips of her though.
