New online comedy show

Hello everyone
Me and my friend have recently made a comedy on YouTube and it would mean a lot if everyone would give it a watch.
It's called Sam and Josh comedy

If everyone could comment, on the YouTube page or this site, it would mean a lot. We'd like to hear what people think.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the show.

Thanks

Moved over to the Showcase forum.

Swearing doesn't always equal funny guys.

I watched the Time Machine one and thought it had some funny moments in. I thought you were both good in front of camera and once you've get some more experience making these I think they've got the potential to be great!!

Keep up the good work!

"Losing My Religion"

The two lads are entertaining characters (in themselves) but the script is nowhere near funny enough to sustain a near-5-minute film.

You could trim it down very considerably without losing anything - and you'd gain a lot in comedic value.

Also, the dialogue needs to be more natural.

And, although swearing CAN be funny, there's too much of it and it detracts from the comedy.

"Time Machine"

This is much the better film: it's funny, characterful and believable from start to finish.

But, please cut out the swearing. I've no objection to swearing if it adds to the comedy but, in this film, it seems to stem purely from nerves and lack of confidence.

The two lads are potentially good comedy actors and whoever wrote this is potentially a good comedy writer.

The whole production is obviously a bit rough and ready but, compared to most of the home-made material on YouTube, this is quality stuff.

It's all a bit monotone and it seems to be the same joke repeated over.

But your productions goodm, you seem to have good chemistry and the lines are nicely economic,

Less swearing I think and play up the oddness. And perhaps make one of the characters more emotive?
