Given that (theoretically) a new writer could write a play for Radio 4 and that most radio plays are subbed to Radio 4, were plays on the New Blood season plays subbed to Radio 4 and then became Radio 7 plays? Or were they commissioned from Radio 4 writers? (If they were, it kind of makes a mockery of the title). Perhaps they should have been advertised as a separate opportunity by Radio 7. They've seemed to have missed a trick here...

New writers have had plays on Radio 4.
