Wireless keyboards

I've just had to take a wireless keyboard back to Maplins. I hate the things.

The biggest problem with wireless keyboards is that they never work at the speed that you type. They often leave out letters which is a loody pin in the ase.

And it's totally embarrassing when you trip over the wireless's.

Only ever had a wireless mouse. Unfortunately it seems to be impossible to get a non-optical wireless mouse now. The bastards. :(

Wtf is optical anyway? I used the touch pad on my laptop and a good ole fashioned bally mouse on my Comp.

It has a laser-like 'eye' on the bottom which detects movement. Not good unless you have a plain, flat surface.

Like a mouse mat?

Who off roads with a mouse anyway?

Wait a minute so you have to use a plain surface without any pattern, is that what you're saying?

Is it painfull?

Sounds like Action Man.

Yes, like a mouse mat. And even then not all will be plain enough.

So who here actually uses a mouse mat anyway?

I do, i have a Havant & waterlooville one with a gel, wrist support, i know, impressive, but wait there is more, it came with a special brush and even has a waterproof coating, now you may feel jealous.

I've got one with a ladybird on it.
