I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here Page 21

Doesn't change a thing, though, does it?
I guess he's just found his level amongst a bunch of ghastly Z-listers.

Not being a lefty, I don't hold grudges and hate forever.
He made mistakes, held his hands up and resigned.
It was a unique situation that will never happen again (hopefully)

Blair in the jungle? We can but dream.

I didn't know Charlene White at all. She's coming across well.
Hancock seemed amazingly oblivious to all the anger and outrage which naturally was felt by everyone on his arrival.
His explanations as to why chose to go were woeful. Very evasive and confused.
He's totally betrayed his constituents by doing this.

Charlene White reads the news.
I love the dichotomy between people complaining that it's the Matt Hancock show and 'I'm gonna vote for that twat to do every trial.

As it is turning out, he's a really nice guy. The rest of the contestants were making similar snide remarks like above - but he is winning with charm and humility.
He knows he'll be made to do every bush tucker trial from the public vote and accepts it with humour.
He's been interrogated by them all (especially by that bossy bitch Charlene White) and one by one, he is winning them over.

I don't watch ITV news.
She doesn't seem like 'a bossy bitch' to me. But hey, I like women...

Lol

I've just learned that Jill Scott is in it and I had a lot of respect for her - but I'm still not watching it.

It's on terrestrial telly though Chappers

I generally don't go for what ITV calls "entertainment".

After week 1, the masks come off and their real personalities come out.
Jill Scott is a lovely person - it shines out of her but as for the rest, especially Boy George and Chris Moyles - they are doing themselves no favours by being there.
Obversely, Matt Hancock is slowly winning over the public and his camp-mates.

I'm not so sure.
He has - to his credit - won lots of food for his fellow campmates so ordinarily you would expect him to be popular and a favourite to win.
Not so. Though there are a number of exceptions, quite a few of the camp still seem to dislike and distrust him. He is also completely tone deaf when it comes to reading the camp's mood.
The public stopped punishing him by selecting him for trials only when it became clear he didn't mind doing them. I suspect they put him forward as Camp Leader because they thought this might cause him trouble.
I'd say he's still very likely to be the first one to be voted out.

Haven't watched this for years but caught Chris Moyles trying to undo stars under water with spanners. What a useless git! He'd obviously never used a spanner in his life.

I was wrong here!
And I'd concede Hancock is doing better than expected.
He won't win though.

The bossy, overbearing person was first out.
Will she get it that nobody voted for her to stay?
Her acolytes in camp will be wondering why
