The Sitcom Mission 2011 Page 134

Last night's show was a sell-out, it seems four sitcoms and a voting system is a popular idea after all.

The Grand Final Five are:

In the Meantime by Ciaran Murtagh and Andrew Jones
What Next? by Abigail Dooley and Emma Edwards
The Box by Russell Obeney
The Regulators by Falko Rademacher
Eye Captain by Matthew Comras

1239 down, Sir Declan and Lord Simon's search for a sitcom writer continues...

Next week's Grand Final is selling well, so if you want to see the winner crowned, here's the link:

Cheers, Declan and Simon

Congratulations to all the finalists and commiserations to the unlucky three that never made the cut.

Well done to the 7 writers who made the finals and commiserations to those who didn't make it through. Don't worry - there's always next year (hopefully).

Best of luck to those that made it through - may the best sitcom win!

Oooh 2000 yes!!!!

Well done to all the finalists. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday.

My ticket is booked for the final. Looking forward to it!

You're welcome.

Have a great final, sorry I'll be miles away. And well done again for a fine sounding run.

Will we ever be able to read the scripts?

Probably BB, but they're not finished yet.

And thanks for your good wishes Kev, and also for your invention of democracy. The Greeks are forever in your debt... along with the IMF, European Union etc.

Declan,
Will the winner be announced on the night or will there be an agonising wait for us all?
Russ

I've got my ticket booked. Looking forward to it. Who else is going?

The winner will be announced after the 7.30pm show.

This morning we'd sold over half the tickets.

UPDATE: 20 tickets left for the 7.30pm show.

Just spoken to the theatre... only 3 left now!!!

And at 12.21pm... it's a sell-out!

Cheers guys!
