Not in my experience! :)

Nor mine, either.
But then we are both undeniably brilliant.

Wasn't there a quote from some big-wig hollywood mogul - when asked who was the most important person in the whole film-making porocess, he answered:

" The writer - and we have to do everything in our power to make sure he never finds out"

"Respect the writer!"

Amen to that. If only that were my experience...

Yes indeed!
Good quote can't remember where it's from.

Here's one from me. When the writer stops getting respected you get sausage factories.

Yes comedy is a tricky one especially.

Yes comedy is a tricky one especially.

Yes it is and not every actor can do it successfully :)

Especially mainly serious actors.

I couldn't do serious, and so only ever did comedy but I had a big problem with corpsing hahaha

Couldn't deal with stiffs BB?

In America only the successful writer is important, in France all writers are important, in England no writer is important, in Australia you have to explain what a writer is. (Geoffrey Cotterell) I believe we are in England...

oh yes I can hahahaha Laughing out loud ;)

I haven't been on this thread for a while but having caught up tonight I feel there's been a lot of writing and little direction. What's needed most is some action.
