I think it is, but it doesn't make sense that in the last pane he's saying "Hellooo Muffin" again as it doesn't continue the dream. Maybe "Don't call me Muffin!"??

Worked for me.
And to look too deeply I did like the supine warrior with the sword still aloft.

I just think that maybe the first two panels didn't seem Gay so the punch didn't have the link it could have had.
I think a tweak of the subject in the first two panels or in the I hit him hard enough line may improve it.
