Now I come to think of it, that was a good sketch.

Just watched episode one, thought it was really rather good; especially enjoyed the old Brit soldier and old Nazi fighting over Peter Andre and Katie Price.
Loved the Surgeon bit, setting up the second 'Macarena' quickie brilliantly.
Crazy Paving was damned good.
Crazy paving had elements, but could have been more refined, and I felt was overlong.
Nothng stand-out in episode 2 - but then I don't recall anything being actively bad either, so I'm not complaining.
The dial-a-vicar ad was a straight lift from Father Ted. I'm surprised nobody at the Beeb noticed.
I watched and enjoyed this last night but I'm hard pressed to remember many of the sketches, save for the first one involving an interviewee with a knife. Which I liked.

Linehan writes for the show, maybe he wrote that one? (I haven't seen it myself)

I thought the drawn out nature was sort of the whole point.
I'm sure Arthur Matthews name popped up on the credits too.
What happened to the Pilots?
Weakest of the series so far perhaps?
I didn't seem to enjoy it as much as the previous eps.
I enjoyed the parents forcing money on the son, and the spy thing was quite amusing.
A bit bland. And the Wild Cooks and This Isn't Funny But It Actually Happened To A Friend Of Mine runners are dead weight that should be cut.
I quite like 'This Isn't Funny...', although not sure why.
Agree that last week's was probably the weakest of the series. There are still a lot more hits than misses though. Shits all over the recent That Mitchell And Webb Look run.
Two guys performing often-mediocre scripts very well.
'Nuff said.
I like This Isn't Funny. Mainly because if they literally are true stories, it's one of those guilty pleasures of life that someone else's tragedy is someone else's comedy
Also still enjoying 'I forgot to put the bins out!'. They seem to have one of these each series (first being 'Kill them!', second 'I'm wearing my wife's knickers!'). The one with the guy trying to escape the law this week was particularly funny, even if I guessed the punchline.
