I think guest hosts are generally bad news. You don't know whether they're going to be shit or not, which makes for inconstency. Not that I watched it, I was watching The Taking of Prince Harry instead. Which wasn't quite what I'd hoped from the title.
Never Mind The Buzzcocks - Series 24 Page 2
Still, it's better than f**king Mock The Week. Even if it has become a bit of an album promo fest.

Quote: Tim Walker @ October 21 2010, 11:02 PM BSTHonestly! You'll never attract a husband with that kind of vulgarity, Miss Wicks.
Nat, you've pulled!
Paul Foot was quite funny with the line-up, but I find him quite tedious, I just don't get him.
I liked Mark Ronson, thought he did a good job, and he's cute too. I think he could grow into the role with a bit of confidence.
Isn't Mark Ronson a bit boring/wooden for that sort of thing?
And by that sort of thing I mean the sort of thing where we have to watch him speaking on telly.
Yes, I thought he was terrible.
Yes, AngieBaby must have been blinded by lust, for he was beyond awful. A truly, truly bad presenter.
If I was blinded by anything it must have been the shine from Alesha Dixon's hair, and what was the point of her off The Saturdays? Vacuous!
Ronson kind of reminded me of Lamarr with his droll delivery, I'd love to see Mark back in the host chair. I don't know who the other guest hosts are but I'd like to see George Lamb give it a go.

That's generally the point of the guest in the chair she was sat in.
Paul Foot has the wif of Jasper Carrot about him....
I always think he reminds me of someone doing a Rowan Atkinson impression. Badly.

Well, the first couple of weeks of this show have been just awful due to the guest hosts. I'm really missing Simon Amstell now! Mark Ronson was wooden in the extreme, and Catherine Tate was annoying and, like Ronson, couldn't get the hang of reading from the auto-cue smoothly.
Thank goodness Jack Dee is up next - his bitter outlook should restore things I think. Based on the press that came out of the recordings, it sounds like it's basically Jack Dee versus Jedward for most of the show - should be funny.
I'm looking forward to this

Sadly, this has been refuted by Stu Mather, the show's Producer.
