Please, come on!
I wish I could play an instrument, I might by an acoustic and grow my hair long and sway in the sunset.

looks like your stuck to your imagination.
I think my happy place would have to be either going to the cinema, listening to music, lying on some bench in a park somewere or being knee deep in r'lass.
Gotta say it's being in the arms of a tall gorgeous man. HUGS ROCK!!
Not England then, where you can talk in real time?
Good point... anyway posting at this time means i can get loads of posts in!
England will always be a happy place for me...the cold, the lack of hot aussie men....
I doooo miss roast dinners though!!! Mum's roast potatoes!!!
It's actually quite warm here now and when I say quite warm, I mean England warm.
Aye, there's nowt like a roast dinner.
Don't over take me, I worked hard at my post count, all the talking crap, it ain't easy you know.

Don't all women Charlie, whether they admit it or not.
In my garden... underneath my grapevine. Either writing (or trying to anyway!)... or playing my bass.

Ouch! :-)
And the X-Factor audition was a 'no'.
I've pasted in below, my follow-up to the audition itself (from thread https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/1711/3

Hey folks,
just got back from my ordeal... and what an ordeal it was!
Queued for ages... hung around for ages... and ages! Finally got my slot and walked into the room to find two very bored looking young girls (about 21-22 years old) checking me out (a la bad night clubs). Before I'd even begun to sing, one of the girls looked away and became more interested in a spot on the wall to her left.
I sang 'Mona Lisa'... wasn't my best performance but I was very happy with it. I did get to finish so that's something... but right at the end, the girl not counting sheep was just about to ask me to stop... so I reckon she had never heard of it... or, indeed, Nat King Cole.
Anyway... it was a 'no' for me. No reasons given... out of the door with you me laddie!
Obviously, I'm not what they're looking for but thanks again for the well wishes, be they genuine or sarcastic... :-)
Weather was lovely today though. You have to count your blessings don't you?
Ginger - yeah, the mad ones are picked purely for their entertainment value. Sad isn't it?

Writing on Southbourne beach when the tourists have all been shot, with nothing more than a pint of real ale for relaxation and a superb sunset for inspiration.
And how have you been spending your days recently?
*Daydreams* Writing on a beach would be my idea of heaven... It wouldn`t even have to be sunny or warm...
I`ve mostly behaved myself, but there has been the odd bit of piratie stuff going on
You could wear an eye patch?
I`m wearing it now.
Where? Or shouldn't I ask?
Have you asked Charley if she wants to join your Girlie Pirates - or are frightened she might just take over?
