Looking for title of an '80s show

Hi, first of all, sorry about my English, hope you can understand me.
I'm looking for the name of a comedy show from the '80s. In Danish it was called something like "Man What An Armageddon!" but that does not necessarily reflect the original title in any way, shape, or form.
Part of the plot was that Russia was trying to saw the UK of the "tectonic plate" and tow it over to Russia. So that the UK would become part of the Warsaw pact.

If anybody could give me a hint in the right direction I would be grateful.
