What about He-Man!

Bill & Ted 3?! That's outrageous. I bought the soundtrack to Bogus Journey as my first ever CD.
I was made to watch 'It's Complicated' recently - Steve Martin acts the straight guy in it (with one funny bit) and he actually comes across pretty well. His plastic surgery makes him look like a cat, mind.
Rocky 4. Easy.
I don't agree that Tim Roth can't act. He was particularly brilliant in Made in Britain and Meantime.
His American accent can be a bit distracting in some films, but it's not bad, it's just that you know he's doing one.
I am very much looking forward to Bill & Ted 3.
And Roth was good in Pulp Fiction. He's an unlikeable arse when you see him interviewed, though.
Ooh, Natalie Portman in Leon!
She's AMAZING in that, and been shit in everything else I've seen. Or at the very least, has certainly not lived up to the potential we thought we saw in Leon.
Good call, Zooo. She was incredible. One on the best kid acting performances ever. Up there with the cheerleader woman from Hero in Remember the Titans, Drew Barrymore in ET, and Jackie Coogan in The Kid.

Apparently she's getting raves for Black Swan, her next film by Darren Aronofsky.
Quote: Matthew Stott @ October 8 2010, 9:01 AM BSTI actually like Jim Carrey in several very good films, too; such as Eternal Sunshine, Dumb And Dumber and The Cable Guy.
The Cable Guy was excellent. But Dumb & Dumber? Awful, much like the Ace Ventura films and The Mask. Carrey's best work yet was undoubtedly Man on the Moon - and the Clint Eastwood film where he does a deformed Elvis act.
For what it was, Dumb and Dumber was absolutely excellent. It's difficult to imagine who would've done it as well.
I get the rubber faced over the top thing is annoying, but for films where it's a pre-requisite, like the Mask, how great that he's out there.

She was hot too in Leon, in an illegal sort of way.

Portman just hasn't appeared in any good films since Leon. That I've seen, anyway. V For Vendetta was okay.

I very nearly bought that from a specials bin last week. I should have. Could have filed it alongside Flash Gordon. If I remember correctly, the movie version didn't have Orko, the little floating red-cloaked thing that delivered the preachy moral to kids at the end of each cartoon episode.
But it had the troll type, the absolute spitting image of Roy Hodgson

I think there might have been an Orko, but it was just a fat man, in normal clothes, with legs, for one scene. I think. There was certainly no Cringer/Battle Cat though!
Flash Gordon is brilliant. "Perhapos today is a good day to die!" "Gordon's ALIVE!"
