Well thank you Seefacts. I agree with the grossness, it's lazy writing on my behalf. As I mention in the paragraph before the piece, it was really a practice with free flowing dialogue, but some of the criticisms where they characters didn't seem to separate from each other, so I ditched two of them and added more action and concentrated on just the two you see now.

As for that video, if it's the one I think you mean, then yes I agree, it's now hidden from public view, not deleted though because I need reminding not to do that sort of thing again, lol.

Cheers.

As a writing exercise that kind of thing is invaluable because stuff comes out about the characters you yourself will have no idea about. It's weird.

I like this, Mark Blake has a challenge where you need to write about two characters trapped in a scene, it's really hard and you pull it off kudos

It's sweet, and I love the way the humor comes from contrasting the lovable couple of actors with their roles as Blood and Pussy.

As a radio play this would kick some serious bum.

Just maybe make the characters closer to Tarantino, or Bond it'll help focus on the excellent characters.

If you've got two good characters who spark, then I love writing this kind of thing.

It's not easy, but when it works it's brilliant.

Why thank you kind sir, I believe it was inspired by the very same challenge given by Mr. Blake.

I loved my two hander that came from that challenge, it's amazing how good sitcoms can come down to really simplified interpersonal interactions.

Best rule of thumb, keep it simple my homies!

I think if you've got two characters who you can just riff off in a room, you know they're good.

Writers block is something I've never believed in - I just think it's people not interested enough in their own characters. Or the characters are just 1 dimensional and dull.

If they can sustain a long chat in a room, it's a good sign.

What's more amazing is that Leevil has cleverly resurrected this thread by making us all feel guilty about the lack of posts.
