Never seen this before, so recorded the whole series on Saturday night. I watched the first two episodes of it yesterday, thought it was quite disappointing.
I didn't laugh a whole lot. The main character is ok, but the rest just seem quite weak. Jessica Hynes' character was mildly amusing in her first scene, but once you got to know her more, it just became less funny. Shame, as she is very good.
I'll probably take a look at the rest of the series, but all in all, a right let down as I did read some decent reviews of it.
Have you seen the last episode, Lord Meldrum? The Hugh Bonneville character possibly having an affair didn't seem very true to life...
Just watching this on iPlayer - it's quite fun.
I notice that the bald guy is the guy who did the office training in The Office - don't recall seeing him in anything else.
He's also in The Thick Of It as a Tory spin doctor.
