British Comedy Guide

Patrick Monahan...

Will be taking part in a world record attempt at London Bridge Rail Station on the 30th September. He will be there for 24 hours and should be doing a few little impromptu gigs as part of the event. It is a really good chance to meet one of the most likeable figures on the circuit in person so bear it in mind if you are commuting, passing through or nearby!

He is lovely. What's the record he's attempting to break though, internet promoter?

It is with a telecommunications company who are going to set a world record for the longest ever three-way conference call. Patrick is one of the celebrities to take part.

Like you said, he is a lovely guy and it is a great chance for people to have a good chat with him. Hopefully there will be a few die-hard fans of his passing through the station next Thursday!

Cool. Who are the other two slebs?

Patrick is a lovely guy and a fantastic stand up but he can talk the hind legs of a donkey and is well known for overrunning so I feel sorry for whoever is paying the phone bill.

The other two celebs are cricketer Phil Tufnell who should be good value too and...umm...Jodie Marsh but the less said about that the better!

Patrick's endless supply of hilarious stories will be sure to go down well. It will be nice if people take the time out of their day to listen to a few of them in full. He will be great at engaging people that's for sure which will be great for the clients and fun for the commuting public!

If you are passing through London Bridge station on Thursday, come and say hi to Patrick!

Tempting. I may stop on my way through and see what's going on.
